Step 1: Locating an Experience & its Playbook
Before scheduling, visit the XR Library tab to search for experiences by name. Clicking into an experience provides a trailer, summaries, and learning objectives.
Note: Every experience page features a Playbook button. This provides a detailed lesson outline, timing guides, discussion questions, and recommended teaching strategies from the creators. We highly recommend reviewing this before your live class.
Step 2: Scheduling the Session (Professors or Admins)
-
Click Schedule Session on the experience page.
Fill out the required details: Session Name, Date/Time, Participant Count, Program Type, Instructor(s), TAs, and Location.
(Optional) Toggle Practice Mode if you only want to rehearse without initiating real logistics.
-
Click Schedule, then click Continue.
Now the session is scheduled, and the session preparation will continue on your organization's admin side (who will receive an email notification about the session).
For more information on the admin side of session preparation, you can read the guide on Device Assignment and Content Syncing for Upcoming LiveXR Session
