How do I transform my written cases into a LearnAI™ Experience?
An existing (published or pre-published) written case study can be transformed into an interactive, AI-powered LearnAI™ Experience. Depending on your learning objectives and planned session requirements, the experience may include a case video, interactive AI stakeholders, polls,, and personalized learner feedback. We will also develop a facilitator insights summary for you to assess knowledge gaps, and provide performance insights of your class.
How do I start the process?
Email your case and teaching notes to our content team at transform_case@avris.io.
Our team will review your materials and contact you to schedule a pedagogical briefing. During this meeting, we will discuss your objectives and explore how LearnAI™ features can enhance your existing case study.
What should I include in my submission?
Please include:
- The lead author’s contact details and the names of any co-authors
- The written case, teaching notes, appendices, and supporting materials
- The case title and links to any published versions - the case does not have to be pre-published
- Updated pedagogical objectives
After we meet and agree on the next steps and project budget, the AVRIS team will prepare an initial concept and share recommendations with you.
What does the development process involve?
The typical process is:
- Case submission: Email your case and supporting materials.
- Pedagogical briefing: Meet with an AVRIS instructional designer within one to two business days.
- Proposal: Receive a proposed timeline and budget
- First draft: Review an initial version.
- Revisions: Work with the AVRIS team to refine the experience as needed.
- Productization: this will include teaching notes, slide decks, and marketing materials for publication.
Timelines may vary depending on the case’s complexity, the scope of the transformation, and the number of revision rounds required.
What happens to my intellectual property?
You and your school retain full ownership of the content and all associated author and institutional intellectual property. AVRIS provides the technology used to create and implement the interactive experience.
If the completed case is distributed through a third-party platform, the distributor’s fees are deducted first. The remaining revenue is shared equally between the content IP holder (you) and the technology enabler (AVRIS). Commercial terms will be reviewed during the kick-off meeting.
Is consent required for video or conversational AI personas based on a real person?
Yes. A signed consent form is required when a real person is represented or animated as an AI persona. If consent cannot be obtained, the AVRIS team can create a fictional character instead.
To request a consent form or additional information, contact transform_case@avris.io.
How much does the transformation cost?
Costs depend on the complexity of the case and the scope of the transformation. After the pedagogical briefing, the AVRIS team will provide a proposed budget and delivery schedule.
For additional information or an initial estimate, contact transform_case@avris.io.
How will my LearnAI™ Experience be distributed, and how is revenue shared?
AVRIS has distribution agreements with most major case distribution channels. The specific distribution revenue-sharing model for your case will depend on the selected channels and other commercial parameters. All distribution and revenue terms will be reviewed and mutually agreed upon before publication.
