Understanding the AVRIS LiveXR™ App
Once you are familiar with your VR headset's controls, your learners will use the AVRIS LiveXR™ App to engage with the various experiences available, while you facilitate the lession using the Seesion Hub. This application is the core interface where learners actively engage and interact with immersive VR content.
The Live XR & Session Hub Ecosystem
The Live XR app is designed to work in perfect synchronization with our web application, the Session Hub.
- Real-Time Control: While learners are immersed in the Live XR app, instructors and facilitators use the Session Hub to manage the flow and pacing of the live session.
- Data-Driven Insights: As participants interact within the VR environment, the Live XR app continuously streams anonymized user data back to the Session Hub, providing facilitators with valuable insights and learning metrics.
Navigating the Live XR Interface
1. The Welcome Lobby
When you power on the headset and launch the app before joining an active session, you will be greeted by the Welcome Lobby.
- Network Management: From this screen, administrators or users can manually connect the VR device to a local Wi-Fi network.
- Battery Monitoring: You can easily check the device's battery status here to ensure it is adequately charged for the upcoming session.
2. The Session Standby Screen
Once your device is successfully connected to a scheduled session, the interface transitions to the Session Standby Screen. This acts as a virtual waiting room.
- Visual Confirmation: The name of the session is prominently displayed, reassuring participants they have joined the correct classroom.
- Contextual Environment: The visual background of the standby screen matches the contextual theme of your learning module.
- Awaiting the Instructor: Learners will wait on this screen until the facilitator officially starts the experience from their Session Hub dashboard.
